Bruce addresses sugar investment

The government has sent a strong signal that it will not spend another dollar to save the beleaguered sugar industry.
However it has not given up hope in divesting the loss-making sector.
Prime Minister Bruce Golding told members of the House that his administration is not prepared to commit scarce resources to run the industry at the expense of other critical sectors.
