China VP to visit Jamaica

The Governments of Jamaica and China are expected to sign a number of agreements when the Vice President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping visits the island this week.
The Chinese VP is expected to arrive in the island this evening for a four-day visit.
The agreements will cover partnerships in agriculture, finance, education and infrastructure development.
Mr. Xi Jinping and Mr. Golding will hold discussions at Jamaica House on bilateral and multilateral issues.
