The police have arrested two more persons as they intensify their investigations into the disappearance of Jhaneel Goulbourne, 15, from her home in Harbour View, St. Andrew late last year.

The police are also investigating the possibility that the teen may have been murdered.

Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Crime, Mark Shields said today’s arrests of a woman in St Mary and a police constable in Kingston stemmed from new information investigators received in the case.

He said Constable Rushon Hamilton remains in custody on carnal abuse charges involving Jhaneel.

DCP Shields said Hamilton will be interviewed in connection with the abduction and suspected murder of the teen.

Jhaneel was reportedly abducted while standing at her gate last October.
