The police said they have been receiving crucial information on corruption in the public sector through the 1-800-CORRUPT line, launched three weeks ago.

The Head of the Anti Corruption Branch, Assistant Commissioner Justin Felice, said he is very encouraged by calls to hotline.

According to ACP Felice, the police are now assessing critical information obtained from callers.

Six members of the police force have been arrested on corruption-related charges since the start of the year.

69 of them were arrested last year for corruption.
