Peter King trial continues
Twenty five year old waiter Sheldon Pusey today told the Home Circuit Court that he did not cut the throat of 64 year old trade ambassador Peter King.
During cross-examination it was suggested to Pusey that he signed an identification parade form admitting that he cut King\'s throat because he tried to rape him.
But Pusey said while he was in custody he was given two blank identification forms to sign and he signed them.
Pusey who was being cross-examined by Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Caroline Hay said he did not take any weapon with him when he went to King\'s house on March 19, 2006.
He told the court that he was not a homosexual.
When it was suggested to Pusey that he showed no remorse for what he had done, he said the only remorse he had was that of going to King\'s house.
Pusey said in his defence last week Friday that he went to talk to King about a job on the afternoon of March 19, 2006.
He said while he was at the house, King forced him to be intimate with him and he took a knife and stabbed him.
The Crown is alleging at the trial, which began on January 19, that King was fatally stabbed and chopped at his Waterloo Road, St Andrew home between March 19 and 20, 2006.
