Westmoreland schools get counselling

The Education Ministry has sent guidance counsellors to the Frome Technical and the Petersfield High schools in Westmoreland.
On Wednesday a ninth grade female student from Petersfield High was stabbed to death by fifth form schoolgirl from Frome.
It happened when the Frome student went to visit a male student at his home in Westmoreland
The male student was recovering from a wound.
While the Frome student was at the house, the schoolgirl from Petersfield High arrived.
A fight reportedly ensued and the Petersfield student was stabbed.
She was pronounced dead at hospital.
The ninth grade Frome Technical student has since been arrested.
The guidance counsellors are providing therapy for teachers and students at both schools.
They will also visit the jailed female student and the immediate family of the student who was killed.
