More Jamaicans are to leave the island for the United States Farm Work programme this week.

The Government has been seeking jobs overseas as part of its election promise to find work for Jamaicans.

The Labour Ministry said just over 100 people are to be sent to the US this Wednesday.

The ministry has committed to capitalising on available employment opportunities for Jamaicans amid the global financial meltdown.
