CAFFE to observe by-election

Election observer group, Citizens Action for Free and Fair Elections (CAFFE), said it will be monitoring the March 23 West Portland by- election and nomination day proceedings this Friday.
CAFFE has called for volunteers in Portland and neighbouring communities who observed the 2007 general and local government elections to assist with the upcoming poll.
The election watchdog said it will also welcome new volunteers.
On Election Day, CAFFE will deploy volunteers to the different polling divisions within the constituency.
The group said a team of specifically chosen volunteers will rove the constituency to observe activities on both days. In addition, they have stated that the election campaigning in the constituency will also be under scrutiny.
