The Chairman of the Jamaica Sugar Cane Growers Association Allan Rickards says he’s satisfied with the quality of fertiliser imported by the government.
Questions were raised in Parliament yesterday regarding the content and safety of product since news emerged that it contains human faeces.
Mr. Rickards said he has been getting positive feedback from farmers who use the fertiliser.
Farmers are aware of the ingredients of the product but have not expressed their intent to stop using it, added Mr. Rickards.
