Contractor killed

A 31 year old contractor of Regent Street, Kingston 4 was shot dead by unknown assailants at Regent Street last night.
Dead is Omar Trenchfield. Police reports are that shortly before 9 p.m., the police were alerted to several explosions in the Regent Street area. When the police arrived, they went to a one bedroom board house next door to Trenchfield’s house where he was found lying on the floor, suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives from the Kingston Central CIB are investigating.
