CXC student performance down

The Caribbean Examination Council (CXC) is reporting that student performance declined in the Caribbean Secondary Examination Certificate in January.



According the CXC, the performances in mathematics, which improved last year, suffered a decline this year



The performances in Biology, Chemistry and Information Technology also declined contributing to an overall failure rate of 57 percent compared with 55 percent last year.
