Tighter security measures for West Portland by election

The police in West Portland say they will be implementing special security measures for the upcoming by-election in that constituency.



There have already been reports of bottle throwing incidents and other acts of intimidation by supporters of the JLP’s Daryl Vaz and the PNP’s Kenneth Rowe.



Superintendent in charge of the area Dudley Scott said the police would also be seeking support from its counterparts in other parishes.
