Three in custody after gun find

The Black River Police in St. Elizabeth have taken three men into custody following the seizure of an illegal firearm at Fyffes Pen in the parish last night.
Their names are being withheld pending further investigations. According to the Constabulary Communication Network’s liaison officer for St. Elizabeth reports that about 10 p.m., the Black River police carried out an operation in Fyffes Pen.
During the exercise the weapon, a Colt Combat Commander 9 mm pistol, was found on a construction site. The three men, who were at the site at the time, were taken into custody for questioning. The Black River Police are investigating.
