Ninja Man reports to police

Dancehall artiste Ninja man, whose real name is Desmond Ballentine, this afternoon turned himself into detectives of the Major Investigation Task Force, along with his lawyer, for questioning in connection with a murder case.



The Star reported yesterday, that the police were seeking to question Ninja man in connection with the murder of 20-year-old Ricardo Johnson otherwise called Ricky Trooper.



Johnson was killed last week Tuesday, while sweeping his yard in the company of a friend in the community of Marl Road when a grey motorcar drove up with three men aboard.



After engaging in an argument with Johnson’s friend, the men drove off and returned later, this time opening fire as they approached.



Johnson was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
