Deputy President of Jamaica Trade and Invest (JTI) Lisa Bell is encouraging a push towards small businesses in Jamaica in an effort to help boost the economy.

Mrs. Bell who was addressing the launch of the Export Centre and Business Information Point office in Falmouth, Trelawny yesterday noted that small businesses provide about 80 percent of the country’s employment.

She also says local hoteliers want to use Jamaican products but they also want to be assured of high quality, consistent supply and competitive prices.
