The police have imposed several traffic changes in sections of West Portland to avoid congestion and to enhance security during today’s by-election.

Superintendent Scott said the traffic changes will affect persons travelling through Buff Bay and Hope Bay.

He said parking will be allowed on one side of Baker’s Street and along the left side of St George Street, heading East.

In Hope Bay, parking will be allowed only on the left side of the road from the old police station east to the current police station.

On Tucker Avenue, parking will be allowed on the left side of the road from the intersection with the main road, south toward Shrubbery.
