Two men killed in Olympic Gardens

The Olympic Gardens Police in St. Andrew South have commenced investigations into the shooting deaths of two men in separate incidents yesterday.



The dead men have been identified as 27-year-old Anthony Blake of Dewdney Road, and 34-year-old Christopher Fuller of a Bay Farm Road address, both in Kingston 11.



Police reports are that about 2:30 p.m., Blake was standing on Binns Road when he was approached by a gunman, who immediately opened fire hitting him several times. The police were called and he was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where he died while being treated.



In the second incident, about 3:00 p.m., Fuller was standing on Olympic Way when he was approached by a gunman. The armed man opened gunfire killing him on the spot. A policeman, who was in close proximity challenged the gunman and a shootout ensued, but the gunman escaped. The crime scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue.
