A man who has been reportedly fleecing potential buyers of furniture and appliances, was arrested by the police during an operation at Twickenham Close in downtown Kingston yesterday.
His identity is being withheld pending an identification parade.
The police say a team carried out a sting operation at Twickenham Close where the man was held around 5 p.m. yesterday.
At the time of his arrest the man was wearing a T-shirt bearing the name of a popular furniture store and had in his possession a forged identification card for the same store, as well as official documents for the store.
The Hunts Bay Police who are investigating are asking anyone who may have been fleeced by the man to call them at 923-7111 or visit the station.
