The National Security Minister Colonel Trevor McMillan has demanded a report from the Jamaica Defence Force regarding the conduct of two soldiers at a crime scene yesterday.

In a news item carried on Television Jamaica last night, one of the soldiers slapped a man claiming to be a musician in the face during a verbal clash with a female police sergeant.

Another soldier who intervened pulled a baton from a policeman and knocked the man on the head.

The incident happened after the man crossed the police tape near the St Andrew studio of entertainer Luciano following a shoot-out between the police and a gunman at he home.

The female sergeant was reprimanding the man after he passed the police tape.

She had ordered him to go back but he disobeyed telling her that he was tired of the abuse often meted out to citizens by the police.
