The Education Ministry is reporting that there were only a few glitches today on day one of the Grade Six Achievement Test, GSAT.
The glitches included the confusion with the names of a few candidates on the examination list.
Today students sat Mathematics and Social Studies tests, and will tomorrow take on Language Arts, Science and Communication Task.
Six of the 152 students who were registered to sit the GSAT at Petersfield Primary and Infant School did not turn up for the examination, principal Vilma Clarke said the day was incident-free and students did their best.
This year 49,700 students have been registered to sit the GSAT to gain a place in a secondary institution.
