Air Jamaica is to suspend flights between New York and Barbados on April 20, but will increase travel on other specified routes.
The New York/Grenada route will now have four weekly flights; Fort Lauderdale to Jamaica, five daily flights; New York to Jamaica four daily flights and daily service between Toronto and Jamaica.
For the summer period, the airline’s schedule will increase to as many as 246 weekly flights.
Air Jamaica says it is aligning capacity in response to market demand by boosting the number of flights on core routes.
