NAJ calls extraordinary meeting

The Nurses Association of Jamaica (NAJ) has called an extraordinary general meeting of all its members for the NAJ Secretariat in Kingston today.



The meeting has been called to discuss issues surrounding the health sector reclassification programme, the review of the regional health authorities, appointments and promotions.



President of the Nurses Association, Edith Allwood Andersons said several resolutions and motions were sent to the health ministry on the issues, for a response by last week Monday.



Mrs. Allwood Andersons said the deadline has passed and no satisfactory response has been received.
