There are reports this afternoon that the island’s air traffic controllers are restive.
It is understood that several employees did not turn up for work this morning.
It is further reported that management personnel are manning the air traffic towers at the airports in Kingston and Montego Bay.
President of the Jamaica Air Traffic Controllers Association, Leon White said the workers are upset about the conditions under which they are forced to work.
Mr. White is meeting with the members of the association to determine their next move.
