Simpson Miller

Readers response to Friday's story from the WikiLeaks cables titled 'Portia Warned'

Just publish the whole cable complete with names. After all, it's JAMAICA we are cleaning up, not one party or the other.

Spring-cleaning time is upon us. Call names so that if Simpson Miller is afraid to act, then the public will. Jamaicans are just about sick of the embarrassment inflicted on us by these tainted politicians.

Why can't these people be named? Name them, shame them (if they have any shame) and then lock them up.

So long as these indictments don't come from local politicians and law-enforcement officials, I believe them.

One thing I can say is that thanks to these wicked leaks (WikiLeaks), we might see cleaner politics in future as everybody will be looking over their shoulders. God bless the Americans, who might be doing it in their own self-interests but we are getting some of the crumbs from the table.

We need also to focus on those people who deal in economic sabotage when their party is not in power. This is a most insidious form of criminality.

Interesting how USA seems to be deciding for us on matters of principle, what have we become. Why is it so tough for Jamaicans to reject corruption irrespective of who the persons are and the party they represent. Seems like USA is more concerned about our well-being more than we are about our own

Gleaner name names, who was he? Is he still there? Please find out from your source, the public needs to know.
