THREE-YEAR LABOUR PACT

LIME Jamaica and the trade unions representing its staff have signed a three-year agreement aimed at "increased productivity and better working relations". The unions to the agreement include the University and Allied Workers Union (UAWU), the National Workers Union and the JTC Executive and Allied Staff Association. The pact covers issues dealing with flexible working hours, increased productivity, efficient management and a temporary suspension of specific benefits, said LIME, whose managing director, Garfield 'Garry' Sinclair (left), is seen shaking hands with President of the UAWU, Lambert Brown, on Wednesday, at the signing of the memorandum of understanding at LIME's head office on Carlton Crescent in Kingston.
