Guarding against rats
RATS ARE very intelligent animals that are naturally suspicious of new additions to their environment. It's best to lure rats into the bait stations by pre-baiting with non-poisonous or normal foods such as peanut butter, sweets, rice, meat, etc. Rats live in great, big families called colonies and they protect themselves by having foot soldiers scout new food sources. If the soldiers return alive then the food is safe to eat.
Once the rats have become accustomed to the trap and you notice them eating most or all the food, switch the lure to Ratgard Baits. Ratgard Bait Blocks come in packs of eight or 16 and even in small granule filled sachets. Ratgard Baits kill rodents through multiple feeding.
Multiple feeding encourages them to eat consistently and share with other members of the colony to get a greater kill rate. Observe the feeding rate and restock bait station as necessary. Remove half-eaten baits and refresh with new ones, moving the stations regularly to avoid familiarity when baits are left uneaten.
Easy to read insert
Ratgard Bait Stations come with an easy to read insert that guides you on how to set baits safely. Using Ratgard Bait Stations prevents unintended harm to loved ones, including children and pets who may come across exposed baits innocently and hurt themselves through poisoning. Ratgard Bait Stations safely deliver bait to rodents.
