Failing grade

Not all the members of the organisation are happy with the 'birthday celebration'. Word is many of them were not invited to the big event, and those who attended have given it a failing grade, saying it was not worthy of the organisation or the particular milestone.

Diplomatic put-down

When the invitations arrived the day before the big event, some say it was the faux pas of the century. Others say they just did not expect such tardiness at that level. Some say it was a diplomatic put-down. Others say the real snub is that those who got late invites did not bother to honour them with the courtesy of a response!

It's personal!

Those in the know say her vociferous opposition to the repeal is because of the fact that she lost her spouse to one of those always 'gazing', so for her, it's rather personal.

Strategic ploy

The canary has been singing, but some say all the talk now of donations in the past is a strategic ploy to forestall possible follow-up prosecutions here at home, just in case another jurisdiction don't grab the person first!

Anger management

Seems as if the anger management classes did not help as friends say the police were called in once again, and this time he was evicted from the matrimonial home and served with a restraining order.

Only noise!

Talk among some movers and shakers is that those mouthing off about Government lack of initiative are not serious. They say how else could you explain the fact that one who is at the helm of an entity has no history of achievement; and yet another is nothing but a glorified employee.

Husband and wife?

The husband and wife arrived at the event and seemingly all's well between the two. But after he spoke for approximately 40 minutes and never once mentioning the wife, never acknowledging her in any way, shape or form, many are wondering about the status of the marriage, as they say they refuse to believe he could be that dense!
