Faces of Summer Model Search back with style!
The management of Saint International model agency has announced the relaunching of its once-popular summer model search series.
"Over the years, we have engaged other effective scouting methods but we have always received many calls for our summer search, and we decided this year was ideal," explained Saint CEO Deiwght Peters.
In 2001, Peters pioneered the televised model-search phenomenon with the Faces of Summer Model Search, which chronicled the islandwide search for the next supermodel.
Many Jamaican stars were born from this innovation, including Nakeisha Robinson, Canise Jackson, Sam Taylor, Jotasha Turnbull and Raschell Osbourne. They have represented Jamaica stylishly in runway and commercial projects for prestigious international brands such as Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, Roberto Cavalli, Kenneth Cole and Givenchy, among others.
"We have many top agencies in London, Milan, New York and Paris, who have expressed interest in representing one of our new talent, but so many are already represented that we had to go searching for new faces," Peters revealed.
New generation stars led by Shena Moulton, Orneila Edwards, Ashane Rose, Trissan Holder, Brad Allen and others still give currency to Saint's roster.
Open to male and females between the ages of 13-30 years old, the search hits Montego Bay's Blue Beat on July 25 and University of the West Indies Student's Union on July 31.
