Angella Bennett, the face of RIU Hotels & Resorts in Jamaica, celebrated yet another milestone on Tuesday, when she turned '40-something'.
The Aquarian, renowned for her loyalty, chose an intimate dinner party setting at RIU Montego Bay's Steakhouse at Mahoe Bay, with a handful of family members, long-standing friends, and close colleagues, to mark her special day.
Bennett, who normally celebrates her birthday at the Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium annually, was forced to change her plans when the organisers of the Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival changed their standard date.
"But who says we can't celebrate again on the weekend at Jazz?" she quipped.
Bennett shares birth month with a number of powerful women, including Oprah Winfrey, the Food and Drug Administration's Elaine J. Lowe, artist Cecile Lee Gelb, and co-worker and friend Niurka Garcia-Linton.
The director of sales at RIU Jamaica, Bennett has responsibility for five resorts on the island.
"One of the best things to have ever happened to me was being embraced by the RIU family," she told Today.
