Policeman dies in hospital

A Police Constable attached to the Mobile Reserve Division died in the Kingston Public Hospital last night from injuries he sustained in a car crash on the Old Harbour main road in St. Catherine two weeks ago.
Dead is 28 year-old Damion McLean.
According to the police report that on March 21 Constable McLean was driving a Toyota motor car along the Old Harbour main road.
He was heading towards May Pen, when upon reaching a section of the road, he lost control of the vehicle, which crashed into a utility pole.
He was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital and later transferred to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was admitted.
He died around 9 p.m.
