Normality returns to JUTC

Full normality is expected to return to JUTC’s three bus depots today.



The Rockfort and Spanish Town depots were closed on Friday, following strike action by several employees after they were informed of the plans to make more than 200 positions redundant.



The resumption follows a back to work formula hammered out by Labour Ministry officials and trade unions at the Ministry of Labour over the weekend.



Vice President of the University and Allied Workers Union, Clifton Grant said the unions and the management of JUTC have also agreed on several proposals put forward by the unions.
