The people of Antigua and Barbuda are still awaiting word from the country\'s prime minister on what steps the government intends to take to fully restore the country’s electricity supply.
For well over a week Antiguans have been experiencing frequent power outages, and the problem persisted up to yesterday.
The Antigua Power Company (APC) has taken one of its generators offline for maintenance, with the company carrying out scheduled load-shedding.
The APC and the government are in court in connection with an earlier dispute, and Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer has accused it of seeking to blackmail his government.
Antiguan residents have been complaining about the unpredictable service electricity they had to contend with over the last week.
