JGRA responds to E10 shortage
The Jamaica Gasoline Retailers Association, JGRA has raised concerns over the late deliveries of E10 gasoline to retailers across the island.
Gas station operators have been complaining that since the implementation of E10 gasoline last month, they have been receiving the supply very late.
President of the JGRA, Trevor Barnes, says the Petrojam Refinery has been finding it difficult to cope with the rising demand for the product.
Mr Barnes says the demand for E10 gasoline is increasing and wants the energy minister Clive Mullings to address the problem:
He says many gas stations have been running out of the product because of the late deliveries.
Mr Barnes has called for the management of Petrojam to revisit its decision to use only two of the four bays available for the product.
