Man Succumbs to Gunshot Wounds

A 25-year-old man who was shot and injured by unknown assailants at Australia Road, Kingston 11 on Sunday night, succumbed to his wounds on Monday.
Dead is Kevin Dawkins of Australia Road, Kingston 11. Police reports are that about 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, Dawkins was standing on Australia road when he was approached by gunmen who fired shots, hitting him.
The police were called and he was taken to the Kingston public hospital where he underwent surgery.
He died about 2:15 a.m. on Monday.
The Olympic Gardens Police are investigating.
