Di hub tantilises tastebuds
Nestled in the fast-growing township of Old Harbour, St Catherine is the hot, new food establishment - Di Hub.
Opened on Emancipation Day, last Saturday, manager Zepheniah Aarons told Food, "We want to give a great meal at a reasonable price in a clean environment."
On a daily basis, the well-stocked kitchen prepares barbecued pork, barbecued chicken, grilled chicken, curried goat, stewed pork and oxtail braised in Guinness - all served with your choice of roasted breadfruit, roasted potato, bammy, roti, bread, mashed potato and cooked rice.
"If you do not want the meat, we also do a wide variety of seafood, done to order," shared Shauna-Kaye Aarons-Donaldson.
The family-operated eatery is providing job opportunities along with delectable dishes to the St Catherine community. "I am glad that the business is here as it provides employment and gives us a chance to do something positive," notes chef Michelle Jackson.
Di Hub is located at 14B West Street, Old Harbour, St Catherine.
