RJRGLEANER Town Hall Meeting | 24 cannabis licences issued since 2015, says authority chairman

Chairman of the Cannabis Licensing Authority (CLA), Hyacinth Lightbourne, has disclosed that some 24 licences have been issued since the authority was established in 2015.
In addition, the CLA chairman said that 134 licences have been conditionally approved.
She made the disclosures at the RJRGLEANER Town Hall Meeting on Thursday at the Jamaica College auditorium in St Andrew.
The CLA is an agency of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries and was established to regulate the legal ganja and hemp industry.
