1 Social media is again being used to spread fear and panic through the society. As we get closer to Christmas, persons ought to refrain from passing on information that cannot be verified and that will shake the joy out of the festive season.

2 They seemed to be the perfect couple, celebrating decades of togetherness. But then the spouse died intestate, and it has been a nightmare since then for the widow and children. The question friends are asking is, why would a sick person not make preparations for death?

3 There are credible reports that one of our musical icons of yore is living in dire circumstances in the cold. Seems she is holed up in a flat without proper heating, and her whole lifestyle leaves much to be desired.

4 There was a time when if the prime minister was going to be out of country, a formal announcement would be made and some minister named to act. These days, we wake up to news that the PM is travelling, and no one seems to be in charge of things.
