St Catherine mauls St Mary High School 26-0

Joel Palmer and Nickyle Ellis grabbed six goals each as St Catherine High School routed St Mary High School 26-0 in the ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup on Thursday afternoon.

Jevin Parkinson, four, and Ellis Guscott, three, also scored multiples in the game.

St Catherine coach Anthony Patrick, while delighted with the win, said it was not a pleasing display as complacency crept into the performance early on.

There were also two dismissals in the game as St Mary's goalkeeper Tejuani Gilbert and his coach, Gregory Walters, both saw red in the game.

St Catherine kept the pressure on to score as many goals as possible as Wolmer's Boys had a 13-0 win over St Mary's on Saturday, forcing their rivals to pay attention to goal difference in Group C.
