JC cruise to 2-0 win over Mona

Jamaica College defeated Mona High 2-0 in their ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup quarterfinal group One game at Stadium East this afternoon.

JC skipper Duncan Mckenzie scored from the spot in the 54th minute while Shemron Phillips added another in the 68th minute to extend the defending champions’ current winning streak to five games.

JC earn their first three points of the round but are in second place in Group One, as St Andrew Technical High School, also on three points, are the group leaders with a better goal difference (+3) after their 4-1 win over St Catherine High earlier today.
