World U-20 | Prince crashes in men’s 100mh final

Demario Prince failed to finish the final of the men’s 110 metres at the World Under-20 Championships at the Pascual Guerrero Olympic Stadium in Cali, Colombia on Wednesday.

Prince got a slow start and struggled to maintain the pace of the early leaders. He never recovered and eventually crashed into the final hurdler, injuring himself in the process.

Antoine Andrews of the Bahamas won the gold medal in a world Under-20 lead of 13.23 seconds with Malik Mixon of the United States of America getting the silver in a personal best of 13.27. Matthew Sophia of the Netherland got the bronze in a national Under-20 record of 13.34.
