The Health Ministry is warning Jamaicans not to purchase three “unregulated” sexual enhancement products being marketed locally via online and informal vendors.

They are “Black Bull Extreme”, “Erectemax” and “Royal Honey”.

A statement released by the ministry on Wednesday said the products contain “undeclared pharmaceutical ingredients”, citing laboratory analysis conducted by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Similar warnings have been issued by the FDA.

The ministry noted that the “Black Bull Extreme” is being promoted as a dietary supplement.

“These undeclared ingredients may cause harmful health effects, especially in individuals with underlying medical conditions or those taking prescription medications,” the statement said.

It urged the public to only purchase health products from licensed and authorised distributors.

Persons who have encountered these products are being asked to make a report to the health ministry via the email address PharmWatch@moh.gov.jm or contact its standards and regulation division at 52-60 Grenada Crescent in New Kingston.
