Poem

Summer
Summer, summer, sun so bright
Summer, summer, clear and starry nights
Summer, the time when school is out,
Hear the children laugh and shout
Dancing happily are the flowers and trees,
The children rushing home, busy as bees
The water shines like diamonds
The leaves are butterflies in the wind.
Oh, how I love the summer wind.
The birds chirp sweetly and ducks quack happily,
The perfect day for snacking,
But as the days go by,
And the sun's light begins to die,
To the summer we say goodbye.
