• The JSE Index advanced by 4,008.03 points (0.80%) to close at 507,066.04.
• The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index advanced by 4,382.42 points (0.79%) to close at 557,132.41.
• The JSE Select Index advanced by 136.37 points (1.05%) to close at 13,091.21.
• The JSE Cross Listed Index advanced by 1.93 points (2.30%) to close at 85.66.
• The Junior Market Index declined by 6.19 points (0.19%) to close at 3,337.40.
• The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 3.39 points (1.50%) to close at 229.67.
• The JSE Financial Index advanced by 1.15 points (0.84%) to close at 137.40.
• The JSE Manufacturing & Distribution Index advanced by 0.63 points (0.65%) to close at 98.01.
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 75 stocks of which 35 advanced, 30 declined and 10 traded firm.
Market volume amounted to 40,316,390 units valued at over $243,060,393.23. SAGICOR SELECT FUNDS LIMITED was the volume leader with 11,253,152 units (27.91%) followed by JAMAICAN TEAS LIMITED with 6,059,319 units (15.03%) and LASCO DISTRIBUTORS LIMITED with 5,958,632 units (14.78%) .
