Stocks Round Up | 138 Student Living today's top performer

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index returned to losing ways on Wednesday.

The slow trading, ended with an advance/decline ratio of 34/50.

The JSE Combined Index declined by 4,559.73 points, or 1.23 per cent to close at 367,046.04.

The JSE Main Market Index declined by 4,595.49 points, or 1.28 per cent to close at 353,218.99; while the Junior Market Index declined by 29.23 points or 0.71 per cent to close at 4,090.42.

The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 4.49 points or 2.24 per cent to close at 204.80.

138 Student Living, up 13.65 per cent to close at $ 5.91.

Everything Fresh, up 9.36 per cent to close at $ 1.87.

AMG Packaging, up 8.99 per cent to close at $ 4.00.

Radio Jamaica, up 8.13 per cent to close at $ 2.26.

Paramount Trading, up 7.18 per cent to close at $ 1.94.

Losers

JMMB Group7% JMD Cr. Prefs, down 19.20 per cent to close at $ 2.02.

Palace Amusement, down 14.18 per cent closing at $ 631.88

Honey Bun, down 9.01 per cent to close at $ 7.37.

JMMB Group 6% USD, down 8.26 per cent to close at US$ 1.00.

Massy Holdings, down 8.24 per cent closing at $ 78.75.

Market volume

21.55 million units valued at over $ 98.69 million.

Volume leaders were: 138 Student Living, followed by Wigton and Sagicor Select-Financial.
