Campari impresses with spectacular showing
Campari has delivered on its promise to take over Trinidad Carnival 2018. The brand, in an early display of mastery, recently mounted three impeccable flash bar displays as part of Trinidad carnival festivities. The displays were mounted as part of activations at 'Big Bad Soca', 'AM beach' and 'Tribe Ignite,' two of which featured performances from Campari Caribbean Brand Influencers Bunji Garlin and Shenseea.
Big Bad Soca, at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba (in Trinidad), featured performances from soca heavyweights Fay-Ann Lyons, Machel Montano,
Bunji Garlin; newcomer Nailah Blackman; fast-rising dancehall sensation Shenseea; and international rap superstar Cardi B. Campari's brand influencers stole the show, both giving remarkable individual sets and mesmerising the audience with a combined performance of Big Bad Soca Remix.
The events marked the kick-off of what promised to be an epic Trinidad Carnival 2018 experience for Campari, which launched its regional 'Come Together' campaign in the twin island republic earlier this year. Campari's executions set the pace for what the brand expects to accomplish regionally.
"Campari has always been tied to class, style, and impeccable taste. Campari Caribbean is no different, Come Together, represents the collective tastes and cultures of the Caribbean region, and Campari's unique flavoUrs and versatility best portray this. From fÍtes to intimate celebrations, Campari has the right mix," shared regional commercial director Michelle Brown.
Campari's 'Trinidad takeover' included activations at several fÍtes and parties, including Sunnation breakfast party, Revel, and AMbush. The brand also had six trucks on the road during Monday and Tuesday mas in Tribe, Rogue, and Fantasy. Following the successful end of its 'Win a Trip to Trini Carnival' Campaign late last year, contest winners from six Caribbean territories and a friend each also joined the Campari team on the road.
The contest winners were treated to Monday wear, Rogue 2018 costumes, premium access to events, hotel accommodation, and spending money, all courtesy of Campari.
The Campari come-together campaign continues in Trinidad and across the region with, on- trade promotions in bars, supermarkets and outlets, boosting its easy mixes Campari Orange and Campari Grapefruit.
