Three new costumes launched by Xaymaca Int'l
Xaymaca International has released three additional costume op-tions via digital media today!
"The demand has been excitingly overwhelming with our initial 13 costumes being sold out in record time since our launch in November 2017, so we decided to fulfill the needs of our masqueraders by providing three additional costume options and three T-shirt options," said band leader, Andrew Bellamy.
The provocative new gold option, accentuated by chains and gems is designed by Jamaican designer Annaixe, and is called 'Royce'.
"The Black Panther film has awakened the exotic warrior spirit of our masqueraders and so we decided to provide an option that will release the fierce sexiness of an African goddess intertwined with the luxe concept," said Xaymaca director Kandi King, in reference to the red and black option called 'Valor' designed by Carla Gittens from the Calori Design Company in Barbados.
In addition, Trinidad based designer, Keisha Als, has created the 'Xaymaca Tropix' black body wear with black and white feathers, that will be excellent for masqueraders who crave simplicity and comfort on the road.
Available t-shirt
Three Xayamca T-shirt packages sponsored by Heineken, Campari and Smirnoff, are also available for purchase.
"We are so grateful for the support of our Xaymacans who have been waiting for this new release. The costumes are available now until stocks last and Xaymacans who have been on the waiting list since the initial set of costumes were sold out, will naturally be given first preference," said Bellamy.
Masqueraders can visit the Xaymaca International Band House at Barbican Beach at 13 East Kings House Road or log on to www.xaymacainternational.com or via their social media pages to view the new costume options for purchase.
Xaymaca International is also set to bring the vibe of carnival offshore as they take their masqueraders on a soca journey on the high seas of Kingston city on Saturday, March 10 at the second staging of the Xaymaca Cooler Cruise. The cooler cruise will be onboard the Treasure Queen and will ignite masqueraders for the massive road march on Sunday, April 8. Tickets for the Xaymaca Cooler Cruise are available at the Band House and by contacting Xaymaca Ambassadors.
