Lubert Levy, Sister Patt, Levy's Heritage rock the Waterfront with gospel
The Diamond Family, an amazing aggregation of gospel artistes who are all related, set the Kingston Waterfront ablaze with soul-stirring music to set the stage to usher out the old year and welcome the new.
Lubert Levy and his children Levy's Heritage, along with his sister, in-demand singer, Sister Patt, seemed to be exactly what the crowd needed.
With three strong groups, it was inevitable that their show was a hits after hits parade.
Kumbaya, Rock my Soul, Covered, and Victory were the songs from Sister Patt, which had the Waterfront singing and dancing.
Lubert Levy, the man with more energy than JPS, treated the crowd to songs such as Tek it by Force, More Blessings Again, which won the Gospel Festival Song Competition in 2004, while Levy's Heritage performed One Touch, the 2012 Gospel Festival Song; After a While and Champion, for which their newest video is out.
"Tonight was spectacular. It's been a while since we have been out here celebrating because of the COVID-19 so it's good just to be out here ministering to God's people and just to see the reception and the warmth from everyone, from the UDC, the organisers, to the crowd has been overwhelming," Oshin Levy, the daughter of Lubert Levy said.
