Valiant closes out Dream WKND on a high

Rising dancehall sensation Valiant took on the major task of closing out Dream WKND on Tuesday, August 1. Performing at Igloo, the Dunce Cheque artiste was visibly in a festive mood as he captivated patrons from the beginning to the end of his performance.

Decked out in their jerseys with Igloos in hand, patrons flocked to Wavz Beach as early as the gates opened, not to miss their chances of seeing Valiant live in action. Taking the stage at approximately 2:45 a.m., Valiant belted out his famous hits, North Carolina, Narcissistic, Speed Off and Sciance.

Though he has risen to fame in recent times, the artiste has a vast catalogue, from which he treated ‘Dreamers’ throughout his performance.

“Valiant was the perfect act to close out the 14th staging of Dream WKND. His energy was insane, his songs connected with the crowd, and he himself was having a grand time. He has come a far way in his career, and we’re happy to have had him perform here because we know our Dreamers would have, and absolutely did love every minute of his performance,”said Dream Entertainment managing director Scott Dunn.

Despite his pleas for the audience to party with him instead of recording the entire time falling on deaf ears, the artiste was determined to fully enjoy his debut performance at the annual event. He broke out into his viral Fadda Rock dance moves during his performance, much to the crowd’s delight.

Keeping the vibes flowing throughout the night were DJs Travis World, Kryptic & Fyahman, Coppershot, and Boom Boom. Dream WKND 2024 is already on the calendar, and Dreamers have begun making plans for the 15th staging.
