WhiteBones the place to be
For avid seafood lovers, Whitebones Seafood Restaurant on Mannings Hill Road has become a refuge. Offering a variety of dishes done in various styles and unique flavours have certainly paid off for the establishment.
This was the first time Restaurant Week Ambassador Steven Marston was visiting the restaurant. He told Food he had always heard about it, but hadn?t managed to visit previously.
Marston that he had high expectations of the meal, but was still surprised by the variety of offerings.
For appetiser, he, and his wife Gail had fish soup and crab backs. This was followed by Lobster in garlic sauce and shrimp in jerk sherry sauce.
?The meal most definitely lived up to expectations. My wife had the lobster and she enjoyed that, but she loved my jerk sherry sauce,? he added.
Marston also spoke highly of the service offered, informing The Gleaner that the waiter was extremely helpful and helped to make great recommendations from the delectable menu offerings.
After trying the savoury crab backs, Marston is now hoping to revisit the restaurant on a Thursday for their crab night.
?I would definitely recommend this restaurant to persons. They have a variety of choices and flavours. This is definitely mot your basic seafood place. The offer varies cooked in many (and some unique) styles.
