Thumbs up, Tastee

THE EDITOR, Sir:

My friends and I recently had a double dose of ecstasy, having paid separate visits to the recently opened Tastee establishment in Liguanea, St Andrew.

First, we had breakfast at the coffee shop, and while I am a 'continental' person, the others opted for the Jamaican fare on offer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our delectable meals in a setting which is light years ahead of most places locally.

However, our second visit to the restaurant a week later was even better.

The layout and design make dining a pleasurable experience.

Kudos to Tastee for this vision and concept. Those of us fortunate to travel have a benchmark to judge where we ought to be as the Government tries to make Vision 2030 a reality.

Good, affordable food served with great ambiance is an unbeatable combo. Pun intended.
